About the role
We're looking for a skilled PHP / full-stack developer to build and maintain dynamic web applications from wherever you work best. You'll ship robust server-side features, integrate databases and APIs, and collaborate with front-end engineers and designers to deliver user-friendly experiences across a distributed team.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain server-side web applications in PHP using modern frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.
- Integrate applications with relational databases and third-party APIs for seamless data exchange.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to build interactive, responsive full-stack features.
- Write clean, well-structured, maintainable code that follows established best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for stability and performance.
- Take part in code reviews, give constructive feedback, and help improve our development process.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a PHP developer with a portfolio and strong command of PHP and its frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with database systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL and writing SQL queries.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Comfort with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and optimize code.
- Excellent communication and the ability to collaborate across a remote team.
